WORLD CUP QUALIFIER


This week I got to photograph the World Cup Qualifying soccer match between The United States and Trinidad and Tobago in Nashville. I used a 30-year-old manual focus 300/2.8 lens that I dug out of my basement closet. I wouldn't recommend trying this at home. I'm surprised anything turned out at all. Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky was in the neighborhood last week. The Coyotes lost, but it was cool to see "The Great One" in person. Having shot only a few sporting events in the last year and a half, I was a bit out of practice. Either way, it was fun.
